On the afternoon/evening of 15th of June 2018 we transformed our studio into a temporary radio station broadcasting live during the London Festival of Architecture, in a very special open event where the creative community of Regent Studios were encouraged to come and play some music, have a few drinks and tell us the story of what takes place in their studio. Whether they had been there for three decades or three weeks, a broad variety of neighbours came to tell us about what brought them to the building.

Architects, florists, metal workers, tailors, graphic designers, chefs, artists, mixologists, filmmakers, animators, printers, costume designers, gelato makers, framers, jam makers and many more helped to collage the collective identity of the building we share. The live stream was broadcast online through 199 Radio, a volunteer run community radio station based in Haringey, co-managed by one of our team Calvin Scherer.
