Associate Director

I love the idea that collaborative design can enable positive change, whatever the scale. And I love working with people. Understanding where their own special expertise lies and discovering how that can help create adaptable, sustainable, and delightful places.

I am a dynamic problem solver, a strong and confident communicator, and an enthusiastic team leader. I’m a maker at heart, with lots of hands-on experience in construction, which gives me a different perspective on the challenges and opportunities of the built environment.

Prior to joining Turner Works, I spent several years as a Senior Associate at Penoyre & Prasad Architects, where I had the pleasure of collaborating with Suzi on several significant projects. In 2018 I received the RIBA Project Architect of the Year award for the BREEAM Excellent Sibson Building at the University of Kent. More recently I led the design and construction of UCL’s BREEAM Outstanding PEARL Building, named ‘Net Zero Project of the Year’ at the Building Awards 2022.

I’ve also been involved in a number of projects in the humanitarian sector, including the restoration of eight schools on India’s east coast. Having two small children has put that on hold for now!
