I enjoy the reaction that you get when you find a solution. This can be something very small, or a far reaching project.

It can come from an individual or as a synthesis or a collective idea, sometimes even from the client themselves. Pooling knowledge inevitably gets you there quicker. Collaborating with specialist teams, consultants and clients is enabling both an holistic view and specific understanding of the principle needs of who we design for.

It is always fantastic to see the meandering journey from thought, to paper, to physical form. Testing, reworking and distilling. There’s excitement in how something is envisaged with reward in seeing the use of those final determined spaces and places.

Working on construction delivery for our recent projects at the Hove House and most recently completing the Cameron Mackintosh Theatre at Mountview, I get closer to seeing a family exploring their new home, and a Theatre family awaiting its opening night.
