Architectural Assistant

Creating spaces that can unlock the potential of tricky or awkward sites, while bringing people together has always been something I’ve found exciting in architecture. Bringing intrigue and joy to even the most mundane spaces helps to enrich the everyday experience. One of my favourite quotes (via Humans of New York) says “We’re all victims of the architect, architecture is the only art that you can’t help but feel. You can avoid paintings, you can avoid music, and you can even avoid history. But good luck getting away from architecture.” So if we can’t escape architecture, let’s make it an art form to be enjoyed by everyone, with social interaction at the forefront of every scale.
